Guitar Hero World Tour

So I just recently found out that a new Guitar Hero game is coming out. No, it's not Aerosmith; I've known about that for a while know. This one is Guitar Hero World Tour. It continues to use the guitar, but adds drums and a microphone. You may think that this is stealing from Rock Band, but this is better. Besides the snare pad, tom pads, and pedal are two cymbals. Another new feature is being able to create your own songs in real time. But due to copyrights, you can't add lyrics. You can also upload these songs to the web.

During Career mode, instead of having setlists, the player has a gig to play for with a choice of songs. The player can also drop to a lower difficulty if needed without having to start over. The Boss Battles will return with new bosses.

Their is also a new feature called "Create-a-Rocker", where you can customize your rocker. It is very similar to the system of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games. Drums and guitars are also customizable.

A new guitar is being developed because of changed gameplay mechanics and according to RedOctance, to "make the guitar as expressive as a real guitar."

The play is able to create their own songs in the "Advanced Studio" mode. The songs can be uploaded on the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii to "GH Tunes" where other players can rate the songs. The player can upload five songs at first, but the better the rating, the more songs you can upload. The highest rated songs will be included in a Showcase alongside popular artists. New licensed songs will be available for download for the first time on the Wii.

According to the companies developing it and info leaks, some of the artists who's songs will be featured on the game are Van Halen, The Eagles, Linkin Park, The Answer, Sublime, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, Smashing Pumpkins, Korn, System of a Down, Ozzy Osbourne, Interpol, and Muse, as well as others.

The game will be released on October 27th in the US and the 28th everywhere else for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo Wii.

Also announced recently, Guitar Hero Metallica, and Guitar Hero Carbine for Mobile Phone.

Viva La Vida or Death and all His Friends

Viva La Vida or Death and all His Friends, Coldplay's most recent album, is awesome! It turns to a little more crunch and seems a little more exotic than Coldplay's previous albums. This album sounds a little bit more like U2 or Radiohead. Coldplay sounds much better this way. The tracks on the album are "Life in Technicolor", "Cemeteries of London", "Lovers in Japan", "Yes", "Viva La Vida", "Death and all His Friends", "Violet Hill", "Strawberry Swing","Lost!","42", and if you buy it on iTunes, it comes with a bonus track, "Lost?", which is just "Lost!" except with just a piano and Chris Martin singing. Coldplay never disappoints. This in my opinion, is one of the best of their four albums. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a 4.9. I would seriously suggest you check it out.

Weezer-The Red Album

Weezer's sixth album, The Red Album, has just been released. In goes in a little different direction than Weezer's previous albums. In my opinion, "Pork and Beans" and "Cold Dark World" are the best songs on the album. "Heart Songs" is a boring, long, horrible, love song. "Troublemaker", "Dreamin'", "The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived", and "Thought I Knew" were also bad. "The Angel and the One" and "Automatic" are okay, I guess. The iTunes version includes 5 bonus tracks: "Miss Sweeney", "Pig", "The Spider", "King", and "It's Easy" I really don't like any of these either. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would probably give this one a 3.346789. I mean it's okay, but I'm really picky. I suggest you listen to it, but Weezer has done better in the past, just to let you know.

Starkiller Unleashed

I apologize for continually posting numerous posts in one day but I just had to put this. This years big Star Wars game 'Star Wars: The Force Unleashed' let's you play as Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice. The game uses revolutionary technology and has incredible graphics and a great plot. But until now, any details on the apprentice's name has remained unknown. I just was reading an article that said his name is rumored to be Starkiller (I think that's his last name, but I'm not sure.) For those of you who don't know the significance of that name, it was the original last name of Luke Skywalker in the original script of Star Wars. So right now I am having a geeky spastic moment of randomness. So yeah. This is pretty cool for me.

The game will be released on September 16 for PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, Wii, PSP, and DS. Unfortunatley, us PC gamers just have to play with our friends.

Your daily dose of music videos and my playlist

Today I have two music videos for you. The first is Grace Kelly by Mika which is weird song but cool.

Cool isn't it?

And the second is Birdhouse in Your Soul by They Might be Giants, they masters of indie rock. Yes it is about a nightlight.

And now on to my playlist. I found this website called imeem where you make playlists and stuff. I've put the link to mine so you can see what songs I like. I add songs every day or every other day or every week so keep checking to see. Here's the link: http://www.imeem.com/people/toelWP/playlist/tatyuCCc/my_songs_music_playlist/

Running

Today I started off on my long summer of running. Yes running. I do have very bad asthma and get bad cramps but actually greatly enjoy running. So my dad and I got up at 4:30 in the morning and we went and ran till about 6:00. It's actually quite beautiful and interesting to see the emptiness of the world when no one is awake. The world isn't screaming in your face. The lingering smell of exhaust fumes from the day before mix with the smell of the embers from the fires of barbeques from the night before. You can hear the birds singing, the woodpeckers pecking, the chirping of the crickets, and the ocassional woosh of a motorist passing by. The world is empty and abandoned. The world is yours to own. The only time when concrete, steel, and rebar are beautiful is very early. So I challenge you all to wake up tomorrow morning and go running. You will then see the true beauty of the world.

Did you know that before 7:00 that the stop lights don't change colors?
